Bakelites

Bakelite grinding wheels are used for dry grinding of steel, concrete and cast iron.

They are made up of abrasives grain (silicon carbide or aluminium oxide) and of a bakelite bonding. The latter is produced by polymerisation, enabling it to become a synthetic material.
